BGC Charity Day: bringing positive change
Every year on September 11th, in partnership with the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, the BGC team honours their colleagues who tragically lost their lives by raising millions for charitable causes. Charity Day has become BGC’s way of transforming a day of loss into one of hope, positivity, and generosity.
As always, BGC, a global broking firm, hosted their annual Charity Day at their Canary Wharf offices. A host of well-known faces, including Sir Mo Farah, Damian Lewis, Louise and Harry Redknapp, Davina McCall, and Conor Gallagher, were among 41 celebrities who joined the trading team, helping to raise over £9 million for vital causes worldwide. With these celebrities coming together at the London office to support 30 amazing charities — such as Oasis, which we also assist through the Oasis Community Fridge in Waterloo —the atmosphere was truly electric as we united to make a meaningful difference.
