A taste of history at the iconic Christ Church Spitalfields

We were delighted to have been asked by our friends at the bespoke event management agency, KIN London, to cater for their clients event at Christ Church Spitalfields where guests enjoyed an evening of insightful conversations and delicious food.

We are listed as preferred caterer at this historic Christ Church Spitalfields, and working in this magnificently restored baroque masterpiece is always a treat. The blank canvas event spaces and grand interiors provide a stunning backdrop for events like this one.

The event took place under the chandeliers in the magnificent Nave with clerestory windows, mezzanine galleries, and a main hall accented with Tuscan columns, all beautifully lit by Oxygen Events.

We served guests some of our favourite canapés, from our take on the 'Big Mac' (aged beef tartare, 'Big Mac' sauce, pickles, toasted brioche croute) to our sticky garlic and sesame aubergine taco (crispy pancake taco, aubergine, coriander, pickled chilli, sriracha mayo). For bowls, we served the always popular 'gochujang pork belly' (Singapore slaw, lime and coriander hung yoghurt) and the creamy, delicious 'truffled wild mushroom mac and cheese' (aged Comté and Tunworth béchamel, crispy shallots, chives).

"Christ Church Spitalfields is a stunning landmark venue that is equipped to deliver the very best events, just like this one for our client, KIN London. The venue stands proud in the heart of the East End and has been welcoming people through its doors for nearly 300 years. Income generated from the events at Christ Church Spitalfields goes back into the work that the team there do in the local community."
